Columbia Specialty, a large supplier in the LA Basin of Carbon and Alloy materials and manufactured parts, has joined The Top Stick Tour by sponsoring the Top Stick Tour 2010 Pro/Am season. Columbia Specialty Company will guarantee a minimum of $10,000 for first place at our TOC in October of 2010.

Together we are bringing the payouts for the Top Stick Pro Ams series in Southern California to a level that allows us to not only increase payout for first place but also increase the depth of the payout at our TOC" said John Barron President and Owner of the Top Stick Tour Inc. “Columbia Specialty brings to the Top Stick Pros the ability to guarantee a minimum of $10,000 to the winner of the TOC and payback down to 5th place” added Barron.
According to Daren Lacher, tournament director, this is more of a “zip code” series. What I mean by that is you get to fish a Pro Am draw circuit and still sleep in your own bed. The only travel you have to do is go to the lake and home with a one day event. Your expenses are held to a minimum which makes this a very attractive series.
The Top Stick will qualify 20 Pros and 20 Ams for the TOC at Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet. This will be a No-Entry fee event with options available. The payout will go to the top five finishers in this championship making it a 1 in 4 payout. The requirements to qualify for the TOC are as follows:
2010 Top Stick Pro’s TOC Qualifications:
Fish a minimum of two (2) regular season events.
Finish in the top 20 in the point standings.
Win one (or more) of the 4 regular season events.*
*Event winners are still required to fish a minimum of two (2) regular season events to be eligible for the TOC. But will be automatic qualifiers if the requirement is met.

AAA: Basic $180 + big fish $25 + insurance $15 + event fee $15 = $235 all in
